USCG Proposed Changes to Aids to Navigation in the Northeast

The United States Coast Guard has been soliciting public comment on their proposed changes to Aids to Navigation in the Northeast which include removing 350 buoys from waters in the Northeast, many of which are located on waterways in the 9th Congressional District.

Congressman Keating is opposed to these changes and is soliciting feedback from constituents on the importance of individual buoys remaining on location. If you are a mariner in the district, please considering sharing a public comment to the USCG as well as filling out Congressman Keating's form that will be compiled into a letter to the United States Coast Guard..
