One of Rep.
Keating’s first initiatives was to create a Women’s Advisory Board. The
members on the Board represent a diverse sampling of the women throughout the
district – they are professionals, public servants, community leaders and small
businesswomen – who advise the Congressman on issues both in Washington and
at home that are impacting women in the 10th Congressional

WIC, which
stands for Women, Infants and Children, is a federal program where grants are
awarded to States for “supplemental foods, health care referrals, and
nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and
non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age
